I have had great opportunities in my career, but possibly none more recognizable than the Always Coca-Cola logo. The funny part of the story is I was never asked to work on the project.Having only been at The Coca-Cola Company about 6 months I couldn't resist the challenge and gave it a shot. This design was selected out of the hundreds of options submitted by several design firms.
The logo was initially only to be used on packaging and point-of-sale in the U.S. promotions of the Always Coca-Cola campaign. This version became so popular it was eventually used across all media and around the world.
